70mai is good. The A810 is enough.

If you want to hardwire, your cars warranty may be affected. Alternately, you can go back to Honda and get their dashcam cause that one is hardwired and since it's done by Honda so warranty will not be affected

i went for ddpai and only did driving recording because I DIY with cigarette lighter power instead of hardwire and I scared battery kong plus my car is old vios. Make sure you get the dashcams with supercapacitor. Personally I went with N5Pro but I think Z60 or A810s is the better choice due to better night vision with sony sensors. 256 gb sandisk high endurance. Highly recommend 128/256 gb because they have better lifespan compared to lower gb that will go thru more read/write cycles.

im using DDPAI N5 Dual, buy at RM550 (front, rear, radar, OBD wire) Jun last year.

im installing it by myself. its not so hard, i can save rm100-rm150 . for the installation only.

still working good until today. just change new memory card last month, since the last one corrupt already.

I would still say DDPAI Z60 Pro for your budget and needs. True 4k with its Sony IMX678 Starvis 2 sensor, super capacitor, etc. Search up on DDPAI as a company and what they specialize on. Yes, I know...DDPAI?! Who the hell are they?! That's exactly what I thought last year before I bought. And this is me who've only used Viofo dashcams for years before buying the Z60 Pro last December.

I installed a few Viofo A139 Pro and DDPAI Z60 Pro dashcams in friends/families cars. So far so good.

Whichever dashcam you go with, opt for one equipped with a super capacitor (instead of battery, especially if you live in a hot area) and Sony IMX678 Starvis 2 sensor. If it doesn't specifically say "IMX678", skip it...even if it says Starvis 2 (most likely using lower model Starvis 2 sensor).

The question is asked because if you are worried about break ins, then you probably want a dashcam with a cabin camera and that activates when the car is off. I have used thinkware and f series, reliable, doesn't have the best resolution, but has been good for 3 years

The worst part is the finicky wifi connection that the phones never is able to connect to. You need to set this straight.. most other dashcam brands has this so well sorted that I as a dealer never suggest Thinkware brand dashcams. I am myself using a U3000P but have never been able to connect and view videos or do all the stuff that requires the app to connect to cam's wifi

Viofo a329s 3 channel, run an external TB SSD drive and VIOFO 512 SD CARD. Pull the headliner to have it recovered when routing the wires, keeps it clean and your headliner might be falling apart soon anyways. Depending on how it's wired, maybe run a auxilary battery for parking mode support.

I know with VIOFO A329S I just installed instead of hard wiring it you could purchase a separate big battery that it plugs into so that it is not in your car battery. You can set it up to not show any wiring just like with the hardware kit.

I purchased a Viofo A229 Plus last year and want to buy a dashcam for my father , but Sd cards have gone up a lot. I bought a 256 gb Sandisk Max Endurance card Last March for $ 39 and its going for $114.99 now on Amazon. The 64 Gb card is $43. Im not sure what I should do. They have a 2k version for $169, the Viofo Dual but I was told I need the Max versions of Sd cards . I tried the Viofo version and had a ton of issues with it so I eventually returned it for the Sandisk,

I got my DDPAI N2 Dual for just rm250 , try survey around and see .

DDPAI is good as all their dashcam uses supercapacitor , so you don't have to worry about the battery dying

For 24H Surveillance it's mixed review but just do your own choices.

2k minimum. Would like to know how much is expensive? I bought a 2k ddpai z40 non-gps dual for about 400 and recently bought 70mai A510 (claimed 2.7k) gps dual less than 400 - this caught my attention because its using Sony Starvis 2.

Edit: I think n2 or n5 are great options.

70mai, bought and installed countless for myself and family, never had issues and app is good A150 and A810s if you want 4k

I went with 70mai A810S after watching several comparison videos on YouTube.

So far, I generally have no complaints for DDPAI (Mini Pro model). It was the cheapest one on sale when I got it. No screen but there is a wifi connection so you can view the videos from there. Crisp video quality, sound quality pretty good as well. They will also warn/remind you if you don't have your SD card in or your SD card got problems.

Me and my co-worker have had great luck using the DDPAI Mini Pro (no longer available) for the past nearly 25 months. One is in my work truck and the other two in his car & pickup. Hard to complain considering the initial purchase price(s) were $40 CAD. Decent enough video quality IMO for what it is. I was contemplating trying one of their newer models but I already too many good dash cam than I know what to do with...

Been using dash cams since 2010 having very little issues with any of them. At present my personal vehicles are equipped as follows...

Pickup - Wolfbox G900 Pro front & rear, Vantrue E1 Pro front, Viofo A119M Pro rear, and soon-to-be-installed Vantrue E360 ACE front, inside, rear.

SUV - Viofo A229 Plus triple channel, Vantrue E1 Pro.

Ddpai z50 pro ticks most of those boxes, starvis 2 sensor and parking mode. Might be slightlyy over 100 depending on where you buy but worth checking.

The 24 hours one is super useful. For some reason this ddpai z50 isn't very sensitive to any gforce at all, so cannot depend on it's detection if there's any slight movement to your car.
So far due to the 24 hours function I managed to capture multiple incidents as proof. Neighbour ter-scratched car then ciao, other ppl cium your car then ciao.
The scratch one I don't think any dashcam would be able to detect and turn on anyway.

70mai omni 4k rotating 360 deg dashcam. in any confrontation, can do voice control to let dashcam turn to driver side for video recording.

I have a safecam V11 since 2022 on my old car. this cheap dashcam is surprisingly durable, I park that car under the sun all day and it just works fine, this one pic quality not so good especially at night, but safecam have a bunch of new models

both install myself, if you have some basic DIY skills its not that hard

my safecam v11 still working fine in my old car, I park under the sun everyday too, night time sucks ass and the rear cam will not see license plates at night, and it costs rm130, and I installed it myself, if you have some knowledge on cars and is brave, you can give it a go, tons of guides online, save urself some $

my new car I buy the A200, bit more expensive but so much better, still can barely make out plates at night for the rear cam tho

DDpai and 70mai are the best choices. Have used both brands, satisfied with both. Go for anything with GPS, >2k resolution and can support rear dashcam (70mai: A500/A800, DDpai: N5, Z40, Z50 etc). Higher resolution will be useful when reviewing footage as you'll be able to identify number plates/signboards etc from a further distance especially at night. GPS is useful for speed tracking and provides coordinates to identify footage location. Screen or no screen doesn't really matter as everything is controlled through the mobile app anyway

The old MPV uses an Android dashcam viewed through the Android head unit.
My daily driver uses an Asawin CP10 with a 4K front camera (rear 1080p) and a 10.2" widescreen with built-in AC/AA.
My oldest car fitted with a dashcam bought from Temu costing <RM10 including shipping - with front and cabin cameras, and very clear actually

70mai - cheap, no 4k, no back camera. Suggestion: M300

DDPAI - bit pricey, superb image quality especially at night, 4K (back camera only HD)

70mai M300 or 70Mai 1S if you're tight on budget. Both priced less than RM200.

I use ddpai N5 Pro with the radar. Including the 256 memory card and installation everything came to under 1K. Resolution is 4K for the front and 2K for the rear. Interior for now I think no need but you always have the option to add on later

Used DDpai N3 (2k) and N5 (4k).
2k day time no issues but night on average 1-1.5 car length to capture plates clear enough to not guess
4k way better but has slightly better range, roughly 2-3 car lengths.
Both very dependent on speed and angle. I've gotten better images at further distance but less angled. Still worth the upgrade for me, also since my N3 was dying.

I got Viofo A119 for the last.. Almost 10 years. The first one died around 3 years in and I didn't know how to search for a better one (I checked the other Viofo models and A119 was the best price-performance from their offering) and got the same A119 again. Few months after buying, my colleagues were talking about dash cams.. And well.. It made me feel stupid as their was 30-40% cheaper and image quality seemed even better. Since then Viofo feels somewhat overpriced.

Edit: I checked the links, they're much cheaper now. Last time I bought Viofo, from their official website, the cheapest model was $90+shipping.

Viofo A229 Pro. I've been using Viofo cameras for years. Started with the A119 in 2017.

I upgrade every once in a while to a newer model when Viofo makes improvements.

Bro ..70mai a200 a400 with screen F&R without 24h hiwire & with m.card is only around 300. Installation if done DIY - FREE loh, if u think Mafan, then bring to they shop only 150 install F&R.
