Ninja CRISPi Reviews
CNN Underscored did a comparison a while ago - you could probably google it. Ninja Crispi came in #1. It’s glass - you can see the food cooking, dishwasher safe & comes with 2 containers that can also go in frig to store.
I waited until this year because I wanted to be able to see what's cooking and easy to clean. I got the Ninja crispi and I love it, use it almost every day. Clear glass bowls go into the dishwasher and I haven't burnt anything.
really depends on the size of the breast, but that's what I cook everything at, at least in the Ninja Crispi.
So my old cheap microwave is already on its last legs. If my air fryer broke too?
Have you seen the new Ninja Crispi microwave/air fryer combo?! The only reason I haven’t bought it is because my nice air fryer still works. I’d be a little excited if it broke tomorrow because I’d have an excuse to splurge on that new one. It’s sweet.
Ninja Crispi. It's perfect for a single person, doesn't take up much room, I can see my food and store leftovers. Love it!
In the past, ninja foodie. Now? Ninja Crispi all the way! The newer one has a keep food warm feature which we 👍 use often.
The Ninja Crispi 6-in-1 is a good upgrade.
First, easy clean up and dishwasher safe. It's also versatile with the different containers.
Just a few things to think about: Glass is heavier, especially when full of food. It also gets very hot during cooking, so you'll need to use trivets or mats when setting it down on your counter.
It's a huge step up from older models, so I think it's a great choice. :)
Shark | Ninja Crispi 6 in 1
My fiancé and I share a household with my family and the community air fryer is sorta small and is getting on in age and was looking to replace it. I came across this and I love the option to have it cook on the glass and easy clean up, plus the size look so much bigger than our current one.
I love our Ninja Crispi Pro. It has full controls, unlike the ones with predefined recipes. The basket is all glass so you can see through it and no funky non-stick materials.
I'm also researching this air fryer. This is what I've found.
The Ninja Crispi System is a solid option, but it has specific trade-offs to keep in mind.
Main draw is the glass containers.
Ninja Crispi FN101 ($180) tops out at 4 quarts.
Ninja Crispi Pro ($300) expands capacity to 6 quarts.
Alternatives for a Family of 3
Instant Vortex Plus 6-in-1 with ClearCook & OdorErase ($150–$160).
6-quart basket comfortably holds 3–4 large chicken breasts.
Includes a glass window to monitor food.
COSORI TurboBlaze 6.0-Quart Air Fryer ($120)
Features a DC motor and 5 fan speeds, making it cook faster than standard air fryers for maximum crispiness on frozen foods.
NT & Easy Clean
Ceramic-coated basket that wipes clean easily.
I'm a fan of Cosori because that's all I've owned. But if budget allows, the Ninja Crispi is a good choice in my opinion.
Ninja Crispi… great reheating and very easy cleaning
Hey I've used the Air Crisper by Magnifique and have enjoyed it. It's a glass dish and a stainless steel crisping plate unlike the coated ones on the ninja crispi.
Ninja Air Fryer Pro XL and a Ninja Crispi. I also have an 8qt Ninja Foodi that can air fry but I hardly use it for that function anymore.
A ninja whatever. Doesn't matter. Upgrading to a ninja crispi pro in the near future.
CNN did an article a few months ago testing all the air fryers. You can probably find it if you look. Ninja Crispi came in first.
CNN surveyed a bunch of air fryers quite a few months ago & came to the same conclusion: the Ninja Crispi.
If my house was on fire I would grab my Ninja Crispi and run. I make almost everything in it including a cake. My kitchen gets excessively hot, I love I can cook and not heat it up.
My biggest complaint of air fryers in general is that they are too small. For only one person it would be big enough. I recently bought the Ninja Crispi (original, not pro) and I absolutely love how easy it is to clean compared to my old pull out basket type.
i have the Ninja Crispi Pro Glass Air Fryer
i put the glass basket and the metal shelf in the dishwasher to make things easier on clean up. it has other heating types but i haven't used them. the air fryer function has done everything i've thrown at it
Ninja Crispi - put some slices on the weiners, 4 minutes on air fry (turning once), 2 minutes on max crisp (turning once), put weiners in buns then another 1 1/2 - 2 minutes on air fry until the buns are slightly toasted.
Never used our air fryer, finally bought a Ninja Crispi air fryer, now use it every day.
I love my Ninja Crispi. Buy the metal racks on Amazon so that your food doesn't touch that nonstick plate they provide.
I bought the ninja crispi pro for the glass trays because I was worried about the same issue. I love it.
I bought a Crispi Pro (ninja had a sale) and wow I’m never going back to a non-glass airfryer.
I wish I had bought a Ninja Crispi. It’s glass. I would go with that over either of the ones you’re looking at.
Ninja Crispi, the original one. Beat kitchen purchase, next to my knives, I've bought.
Ninja Crispi because it is so easy to keep clean.
I have a ninja crispi and I never have to worry about cleaning because I throw the whole thing in the dishwasher every night.
I'm single and got the Ninja Crispi portable. I like that it is small and easy to move. The glass bowls are easy to clean. I use it every day for most everything. There are a few times I cook 2 different items, but I just do batches because it wasn't practical to get a bigger 2 drawer model for those few times. The only thing it doesn't do well for me is bake, but I'm ok with that because I only bake cookies at Thanksgiving and Christmas when I don't mind heating the kitchen.
Take a look at Ninja Crispi or even at Ninja Speedi 10 in 1. Both take not so much place.
The first one is really easy to use and clean as it has small and bigger glass containers.
The second one has even more modes that are useful while making salmon or vegetables (rapid cooking, slow cooking, steam, grill..).
But all in all nearly every air fryer can cook descent fish/salmon dish.
Almost every day.
I wish I had bought a Ninja Crispi for the glass containers and different sizes of the containers.
Ninja Crispi if it's within your budget. Convenient & easy to clean.
Ok, but you can look at the condition before buying it or go for one that has stainless steel or glass (like the kind with 2 doors or the ninja crispi.)
Low key the ninja crispi is so worth it. 125$ or so but the connivence and way it works. Took over my microwaves job.
After many years of daily use my Ninja Foodie quit. I replaced it with a Ninja Crispi.
Ease of cleaning is absolutely my number one question now. Our first Ninja air fryer is DISGUSTING. No amount of cleaning and scrubbing will get that layer of stickiness off the basket. We've replaced it with the Crispi, and it's so easy to clean the glass dishes and keep them clean. Sometimes I hand wash, sometimes I toss it into the dishwasher. (And I like the three sizes of basket.)
I have a Ninja Crispi Pro and when I first used it, I was also in love with how easy it was to clean. Also, that they give you 2 different size glass bowls with lids for easy storing!
I still have my basket style Ninja air fryer, though the capacity is the same, this one is a bit taller. I figured out how to bake homemade bread in the air fryer, but if I do it in the Crispi, the bread pushes up against the top, in the basket one, it’s taller so the bread isn’t hitting up against it. But overall, I do prefer the glass one!
I hate air fryers. HATE.
I just bought the Ninja Crispi at Costco on sale.
I love the glass containers and prep lids.
Same - We have the Ninja Crispi Pro with the glass baskets and love it. easy to see inside and easy to clean. I feel better about it than about the teflon coated metal brackets.
Just got the ninja crispi from Costco which comes with the three sizes. I have used it so many times already. I’m literally obsessed
I recommend a glass one that looks easy to clean. The Ninja Crispi is awesome and changed my usage of the air fryer to many more times a week vs. a few times a month with an older one.
I have the grill, basket, dual basket and the ninja flip. I use the basket the most. I want to buy the ninja crispi. I also have their blenders (portable and regular) and the ninja slushi. I love their products!
I used to be hardcore ninja AF160 fan and even gifted several units to friends and family. But recently my ninja finally died and I tried the Crispi and OMG the cleaning is so so much easier and better than the AF160. So much more room to cook a lot more and I’m newly converted.
Now I can just dump all the food into the glass container directly to cook and not worry about Teflon flu cause I cook for many hours.
The only downside is that the glass is a lot heavier to carry about so ive burned my knuckles quite a bit getting items out vs just dumping it directly from the AF160 metal basket which is lighter and easier to handle.
Team glass airfryer from now on
As did I.
The Ninja Crispi is my second air fryer and it is a vast improvement over my previous one, which was also a Ninja brand air fryer.
I agree that it does a much better job with crisping and cooking in general. And the design is even ascetically pleasing. My last air fryer looked like some gigantic beast of a machine sitting on my kitchen counter, but the Crispi looks much more please to the eye. Visitors look at it and don't even realize that it's an air fryer typically having to ask me what it is.
I have the Ninja Crispi and love being able to cook, serve, and refrigerate with the 3 different size glass containers. Seeing the food cook is great and cleanup is so easy.
Ninja Crispi but still getting used to it. The small sized basket puts the food so close to the heat source that the food actually burns - this happened to my broccoli - which felt like it defeats the purpose. So been just using that giant 6qt basket even for small amounts of food.
I also have the Ninja Crispi. Being able to see the food is definitely a plus, but was more interested in the easier cleanup, the fact that I no longer need to preheat the air fryer and the ability to put on the accompanying lid(s) and store the leftovers in the refrigerator.
I have a Ninja Crispi. Not so much to watch the food but the clean up of the glass is super easy
The ninja crispi is a great 👍 air fryer small but easy to clean and use
I have the Pro version. Instead of the device sitting on top of the container, the container slides into the base and has a movable base to account for the change in bowl sizes. I also have a regular basket style 7-in-one Ninja air fryer. The Crispi pro is my go to. Easier to clean. I love the change out in bowls that I can even store the cooked food in.
100% less powerful as I got the Ninja Crispi Portable (FN101GY)
If I got the Ninja Crispi Pro(AS101),
more than likely not less powerful as it has 'manual' temp control up to 450.
The Pro is bigger too.
I have the ninja foodi grill and its a pain in the ass to clean if you go greasy. I got the ninja crispi for most cooking but if i need to really grill something i use a stainless steel pan with portable gas stove for high heat. I also have a cast iron griddle and maintaining it is also a pain and basically switched out all my cast iron for stainless steel.
They also make silicone liners with holes too. They're both better than the no hole version but I still find they make the results less crispy. I think they still block some airflow vs the raw grate and prevent some heat transfer. I switched to the ninja crispi after my old air fryer broke and I love it, you just put the entire tub in the dishwasher.
The Ninja Crispi is glass with plastic or silicone feet and handles. It can sit and cook on my counter without damaging it. And the top part which comes off has feet too. It’s extremely easy to clean, you can even put it in the dishwasher.
I used the first one so much that I bought a ninja crispi so I could have one made mostly of glass.
I make health things like tofu, veggies, potatoes. Heating up pizza is perfect now. French fries. Hash browns, all kinds of frozen food heat up so much better and faster than the oven.
My son just got me the Ninja Crispi and I love it!
Ninja Crispi Pro. It is glass, and big enough to cook a whole chicken! It air fries and bakes! It’s super easy to clean! It’s so cool! I have an original Ninja Crispi that I bought before the Pro size came out and it’s wonderful.
I love the glass bowels of the Ninja CrispI Pro. They don’t have any questionable non-stick coatings and are super easy to clean. The controls are much better than the ones on the non-pro Crispi.
I got the Ninja Crispi 4 in 1 for Christmas to heat up lunches at work and it is amazing so far! Mine came with 6 cup and 4 qt bowls but you can also buy a 6 qt bowl if needed. The glass bowl design is great for being able to see when something is close to being done without having to take it off heat and its amazingly easy to clean. I was a little hesitant about not having a real temp control but I haven't had any issues yet with anything that I've cooked. Highly recommend!
I've had an air fryer for a couple of years - love cooking in it, hate cleaning it. For Christmas I received a Ninja Crispi - GAME CHANGER! Mine came from Costco, has 3 different containers, you put the lid on which has the element in it. Absolutely love it and I donated my old, perfectly functioning one. The containers for the Ninja Crispi can go in the dishwasher, but they only take a minute to wash by hand. Highly recommend!
