Find a model with ceramic coating. Most airfryers are toxic. Even ninja and philips make a lot of toxic ones.

Look into Philips (Airfryer Series / OVI) and Cosori brand.

I have a small air fryer (philips) and the nice thing is that it heats up fast. The bigger air fryers will either be slower to heat or use a lot more energy than a small unit.

I use mine to fry pork chops but it's too small to fry more than one big chop at a time or fry other things at the same time, that's the main downfall of smaller air fryers like I have.

I have that exact Philips model. No complaints so far, even with the sound.

Bought philips na231 in July sale. Had to return as the basket was not fitting well and there were scratches on basket due to incorrect fit. Outer body is of plastic and the fitting was off. Amazon had replacement option but for some reason they gave me refund instead. Ordered Ninja one today at 6900 (Amazon with HDFC Card). Hoping it turns out good.

I ordered the Philips one from Amazon few days back and received a broken one. Never gonna order air fryers from Amazon. Shit packaging and waste of time.

I got mine from Philips and it’s been going great so far, though I do wish I had gone for a larger capacity. Sometimes I had to cook my meals in batches which is a chore in and of itself.

I'd save up for a philips if you can. they're really reliable and have lots of cooking options. i found some brand new ones for way less on rebel so it's worth checking there before paying full price.

I had an OG Philips air fryer. We used it hundreds of times over the years. The grounding prong fell off of the power cord and that's when we knew it was finished. We got a new oven that has air fry built in.

Yes I killed my Philips XXL Premium about a year ago. It was used 2 times a day every day of the week for 4 1/2 years. I replaced it with a Cosori Turbo Tower Pro. The Cosori is so much easier to clean than the Philips one. I also clean the heat elements at least once a week and if I have cooked something really greasy I clean the heat elements as soon as the airfryer has cooled down.

I've only had a used one that I picked up from a thrift shop for $5 within the past 6 months or so because I wasn't sure I'd like it, but it seems to pretty neat. It's an old Philips with analog controls (spring timer, thermostat). Subject of this post got me wondering how the heck would it break... I hope I don't drop it. This doesn't have electronics at all, ... hmm...

I've been using a Philips for about three years and it is great. It bas a bit of wear and tear but still works, use it every day. Payed about 60 euros.

I just got one on Prime Day that does it all. Our Philips air fryer which was one of the first air fryers finally gave up. I have to say I am really pleased. I’ve used it more in the week I’ve had it than I used the old air fryer in two months. Highly recommend the multi function capability. Can’t speak to that brand name as I don’t know.

I have used philips before it took 15 mintues to cook chicken breast. This also takes same time 15 minutes.

It's not recommended by the Philips Air Fryer chef. The purpose of an air fryer is the air flow around the food and liners disturb this.

Thank you to everyone who replied :) I ended up buying the Philips 4000 - it was in stock locally. So I did end up going with dual baskets :)

Philips 4000 series is stacked and has heating elements on the top, with fan at the back. I mostly love that I can turn on the light for a quick look inside without having to open the basket.

I was a Philips air fryer user for many years but each replacement eventually died. Decided to try the ninja dual basket, the AF400EU and it's great! Highly recommend.

I have the Philips XL one, its slower than my sisters Ninja one, but it cooks the food more evenly.

Philips na460. I wanted stacked one and while ninja was 1/3 cheaper it had heating element at the back, so would require more times shaking my fries

First gen Philips xl, still works. Don't overthink it, look at the capacity, ease of use, and go.

Larger is better imho.

This seems to go contrary to what most people here write but I basically stopped using my airfryer because it's such a pain to clean (a Philips)

I’ve had the Breville one since 2019 and it still works really well. I mean that’s only 7 years so take that however you want. I will say that it doesn’t air dry as well as the Philips air fryer (or a designated air fryer type machine), but it’s good enough for me. I use it daily, while I only use my actual oven when I’m throwing a party.

I have the Philips Airfryer which doesn't need to reheat in microwave first. It comes with some smart technology that evenly reheats and crisps the food

I love my Philips Airfryer, its super easy to use. My favourite part is that it cooks all food evenly, so i dont have to stir the food halfway through - then i dump all the removal parts into the dishwasher.

Hey Guys I am extremely confused between
Philips NA 231/00 (6.2L)
vs
NuuK Brisk (6.5L).

Nuuk is newly launched but claims No Non stick (1st in India ILAG Swiss Ceramic coating), healthy, etc. though its a 100W less than philips but looks very promising and is just launched (2 weeks ago) vs philips model launched 5-6 years back.

P.S. I am inclined towards NuuK but will the After-sales trouble me? in Tier-1 city!

Price wise both are similar

I had purchased this Philips air fryer sometime ago.. honestly speaking the quality is top notch with quite a sturdy build.
For frying, it is definitely easy to use and the one thing that I love the most about this is that it cooks and fries evenly.
Apart from healthier cooking (obvio) it's actually user-friendly and offers enough space for cooking french fries, bhajiya, or whatever you want to enjoy. I think you should go for it!!

Philips has a lot of service hassles
And actually I have brought it after looking the reels of cooking in air fryer but to my disappointed I don't like the taste when it's cooked here.
You can go with it if you very much health freak and don't mind the taste. I personally don't like it

Never a philips one. All air fryers (most appliances)are almost the same made in china hardware simply rebranded. You would be paying 4-5k extra just for the brand name.

I am glad i bought a 3.5k lifelong airfryer over a 9k philips one. Slightly larger capacity than philips.

This was 6 years ago and it's still working even after high usage. But now i am concerned abt non stick coating and plastic fumes so getting a new one with glass basket and stainless steel compartment.

I got a new philips air fryer and it's silent like it has 0 sound. It's very annoying because most of the time I have to double triple check whether it's on or off neither they have those rotating fan symbol to show that it's on. Compared to that it feels like a plane is gonna take off so yes it's very loud.

I returned my Typhur air fryer opposite reason. I want a higher more room away from heating top element.
I have had 3 Philips, the glass ones the concept is great. Have in trailer. Everyone loves what comes out of the fryers.
I need a taller one wide basket. I keep mine on counter because arthritis. I cook from scratch mostly. Don’t buy much frozen meals. I even just bought a year ago the air fryer lid for my stock pot. It works pretty good.
But the new ones Dome 2 may be what I am wanting for my needs. Love the ceramic drawer.
Now watch for reviews and watch for a good coupon. Maybe Mother’s Day or my 50th anniversary in spring.
Glad tried the first edition. But knew I was settling.
Unless your needs not mine; this is a great concept.

He thinks it's great and works well, but I wanted to see if others have experience out there also as the price seems too good to be true and I've never heard of this brand — most people use Philips.
