"I was looking for new earbud too. wanted to try different design because my ear is aching. I bought the MC1 Pro clip on style because it was less than a hundred at 4 a.m for some reason. Anyway, during my hunt I watched a lot of reviews. Based on your budget and the current sales going on I have two recommendation. Mind you this is entirely based on reviews I've watched I do not own any of these. First is \[**baseus bp1 pro**\]. On sales + free gifts right now. If you go to \[Baseus MY Official Store\] you get a free powerbank and case. Second one have slightly better reviews it's the new \[**soundcore r60i**\]. You can get it below 150 I think with voucher. The reduced price is only seen on shopee app. The reviews I've watched includes every aspect not just quality of sound and soundcore app always have better rating compared to baseus. good luck."

"A good budget earbud I'm using for over a year now is a soundcore a20i. It's only a bit more than your budget. No noise cancelling and the battery life is only about 6 hours excluding case battery which is plenty for me and can't be greedy if you want cheap. Absolutely amazing sound quality and you can control the EQ with an app. Bass and highs are good. You can hear the little details in songs which I think is a pretty important aspect in enjoying music. Though one issue is if you want to use one earbuds only, you have to take both out of the case because the connection with one earbuds only gets really unreliable."

"Save up money for another month and get the CMF Buds Pro 2 at RM298 maybe. Tbh, good sounding TWS with decent ANC would start around RM400 ish IMO, lower than that and it'll be a mish-mash of either decent ANC but peaky sounding SQ, or good SQ but meh ANC. Also highly recommend trying out the earphones yourself, since you may or may not like the sound tuning. Try visiting Starspickers Audio in PJ as they have some limited selection for your budget (mainly Moondrop ones) and shopping malls with stores that sell Nothing Phones (normally will also sell Nothing Ears & CMF Buds Pro with demo unit, IIRC there's one in Sunway Pyramid that has them just nearby the Sony store)."

"i recommend getting soundpeats air 4 pro but its slightly above your budget by 40 ringgit. it has a decent soundstage,a multi point connection if you want to switch your audio output from multiple devices,in ear detection so it can pause your music when taking one of them off your ears and the ANC is very good in this price point. as for the audio quality, its pretty solid out of the box.no need to set up an eq if you are not used to that kind of stuff. and the neat part about it is that it supports APTX codec which means it can fully take advantage of lossless audio.unless you are an iphone user then you are stuck at using AAC codex but the con is that the transparency mode is quite hit or miss and the battery is pretty terrible at 3 hours of battery life with anc on. as for mic quality, its pretty mediocre at best.i guess that is where they cut corners to fit in the budget"

"It depends on what you want. If you want the convenience of using the Apple ecosystem, then any AirPods are good for an iPhone since they are a first-party accessory. But if you want a ready-made budget TWS, any sub RM200 is already good enough. I've been using Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus for almost 5 years since launch, and still going strong. It's quite a balanced tuning. Right now, I'm rocking Moondrop Space Travel, Redmi buds 6 lite, and QCY HT15 (already given to my girlfriends). All have solid listening experience, but the main reason we're all going to TWS is the convenience of not having wires attached. I would always rock with my iems if at home, but going ou,t my other TWS are good for enjoying your music or answering call outside. Like your friends said, it's not worth the money since you can get a good enough function as TWS from another brand rather than paying for overpriced AirPods."

"I’ve been using the APP2 for a month, and it’s definitely worth it compared to my older earbuds (Soundcore A20i, R50i, WF-1000XM3, and original AirPods). The tuning and soundstage are better out of the box, the ANC is on another level, and the fit is more comfortable for me. As for the APP3, I don’t own them, but I’ve heard the redesigned shell can be hit-or-miss for comfort. They have stronger ANC thanks to the silicon + foam tips, a wider soundstage, and a more V-shaped tuning (with recessed mids). I got my APP2 on promotion, not sure if that deal is still around."
"Side note; tips for buying electronics in Malaysia. Never buy at physical stores, just but them online cause there's always vouchers and discounts readily available. The only thing you'll find hardly discounted is (u guessed it) Apple products. But during lazada sales, (9.9,10.10,11/11) airpods pro got discounted from 1099rm to 729rm. So be the best comsumer and try hunting for the best deals. You got this!"

Its because the current airbuds i use are jbl something and it has 8 hours of playtime with anc compared to the 6 hours for airpods pro 2 and i use earbuds like 2/3 of the day (i like to listen to music while pretending like im in a tiktok edit) I’ll definitely look into some other options before making a decision.

Its in the 50-80 price range, lasted me 4 years outdoor and working under the sun, jogging, in the rain, dropped from 2nd floor on concrete, dropped into mud, left in my car on hot days for years. One of the buds is dead but the other half now is still working fine, touch sensitivity to navigate music is good. While the sound has alot to be desired, theres no delay while playing games and videos but for the price its maybe the best one, currently using jabra 2 but I find myself going back the the haylou sometimes as the sound produced is balanced and doesnt hurt my ear.
"Sony MDR-EX155AP, i bought it two years ago and it still works perfectly even though i just throw them in the bag every time. In comparison ,apple earphones always break less than a year for me so having a earphone that lasts more than 1 year is v surprising. The sound quality is decent but if you like extra bass then you might wanna buy higher price ones"

"Can try checking out the OnePlus Buds Pro 3, they are releasing them in Malaysia soon, I've watched several reviews and they look really solid for the price. I had the Linkbuds S, and the battery lasted around 1.5 years before it started draining quickly. The right side on mine could barely last 30 minutes. However, I know a repair shop that can replace the batteries for a fair price. Sony forces you to buy a new one 🙄"
"Oneplus Buds 3 / 3 Pro (launch price rm399, now available for less than rm300) or CMF Buds 2 Pro (launch price rm299) or get wired iem eg. Tangzu Waner/Moondrop Chu2 rm75/rm85 + 3.5mm adapter maybe rm20?, bluetooth tws need to charge, wired no need charge, with good eartip good seal it is comparable to ANC"
Skullcandy

"100 and 200 a few notable brands available instead of those weird chinese brands. Look for brands like: Skullcandy Edifier Jabra Tribit Wait for 7.7 and buy during promotion can good midrange for the price. I'm not an audiophile as well so a few things i considered were: Fit: my earlobe is a bit weirdly shaped. So best fit for me so far is jabra, samsung buds plus, tribit, and havit. Edifier, mpow, soundpeats doesnt fit me well. Physical button vs touch: i prefer physical but must have good water resistance at least for sweat. Jabra and tribit best for me."
"I won't recommend it. My skullcandy headphones broke within two months of using it (might be different for tws earbuds but idk). I come from an average income family so I don't treat them roughly but even so they still break very easily. Also their sound quality's not the best, extremely bloated bass. The bass will basically drown out the mids, causing it to sound muddy."
